Schooled in Durban, Eric pursued his career in Johannesburg where he initially worked in banking. His love of photography led him into the then dynamic world of 1 hour developing and printing where he launched and established several retail outlets while working as a professional photographer and running a successful photographic studio in downtown Johannesburg. He later joined the CNA-Gallo group head office where he held positions as merchandise manager, advertising manager, store planning merchandising manager, and finally as a marketing director at group company Constantia Greetings. He relocated to Durban with his family when his second son was born. He held the position of Marketing Director at Creative Stationery and directed design and product development of lines for the likes of CNA, Pick 'n Pay, Clicks, and Woolworths. He has traveled extensively on business in the USA, UK and Europe, identifying new trends, design and fashion for marketing and product creations. Intrigued by the growth of the internet, he left to pursue his new direction in the then fledgling industry of the world wide web in 1999. His experience in this dynamic industry is vast where re-invention is a constant reality. He has been creating, developing and marketing online business for the last 25 years.
